School Closure Resources and Information
The government has asked parents to ‘keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend. Those with an EHC plan should be risk-assessed by their school in consultation with the local authority (LA) and parents, to decide whether they need to continue to be offered a school or college place in order to meet their needs, or whether they can safely have their needs met at home.
Many children and young people with EHC plans can safely remain at home’. (DfE update 23rd March 2020).
We were so glad today to hear all parents are following Public Health England advice. We will continue to check in with you and your child once a week.
If you wish to contact us before your weekly call please email: email@example.com
Students learning at home:
Where possible students are all being set work on Google Classroom to complete at home. KS3 pupils have been sent work packs.
Please look at the school website (below) for extra resources, SALT ideas, Mental Health support, home learning activities and key vocabulary.
The situation may change daily or weekly. We will be in touch if developments affect the School’s position and / or provision.
