Farewell to Year 11

Year 11 rounded off their time at school with two Post-16 Transition Days at St Marylebone Sixth Form site.

They took part in a series of activities to prepare them for their next step in education from September. They had to navigate a post-16 building, use the common room and break and lunch and get themselves to class on time. They enjoyed the responsibility of wearing their own clothes and keeping their mobiles on them. They finished the week off with a trip to Clip n' Climb in Chelsea where they had to muster all their courage (and upper body strength!) to scale the climbing walls and some were even brave enough to tackle the daunting vertical drop slide.

This term saw a first for Bridge School - the first ever Year 11 Leavers Prom! The night was planned by students and pulled off by a very dedicated team of staff. It was a lovely way for our Year 11s to say goodbye to each other, with food, drink, photos, games and dancing. There was even a staff-student dance off which saw Younes crowned 'King of the Dance Floor'

On Thursday 29th July we said a final goodbye to our Year 11s with a Celebration Assembly. It was lovely to be joined by so many parents, carers and other family members to share some of students' best memories, celebrate their many achievements and say thanks to everyone who has supported them over the last 5 years. It has been a privilege to see our students grow into confident, responsible young people who can advocate for themselves. We will miss you all and wish you the very best of luck for the future. Goodbye Class of '23!
