Students had spent the academic year engaging in indoor rowing classes, therefore the on water rowing experience was a nice end of year reward. Students had a lovely day in the sunshine and learnt how to row using 3 different sized boats. The rowing experience encouraged teamwork and problem-solving skills which students embraced. It was a great experience and many students were able to 'face their fears' by showing courage and resilience.
