This week has been another fantastic Activities Week at St Marylebone CE Bridge School.
We are very proud to share that our Year 7 students have had their artwork displayed at The Wallace Collection as part of the exhibition Our Year at the Wallace Collection.
A group of Year 10 students, alongside some pupils from Years 7 and 9, recently attended a Chess Fest in Westminster - a super way to end a year which began with a new partnership with Chess in Schools and Communities (CSC).
This year’s Talent Show was a fantastic success, filled with energy, laughter, and an incredible variety of performances from students across all year groups.
Our Year 9 students headed off on their residential to Stubbers Adventure Centre this term, and what a trip it turned out to be.
Students from The St Marylebone CE Bridge School have recently taken part in the national Art Bytes 2026 competition, showcasing an exciting range of expressive and imaginative artwork alongside schools from across the country.
The whole school took part in the TCS London Mini Marathon during Term 5, and what an incredible event it was!
Our Key Stage 4 students rounded off the term with their residential to PGL Marchants Hill where they took part in a wide range of exciting and challenging activities, including climbing, abseiling, trapeze, giant swing, problem-solving tasks, and Ambush (a giant game of hide and seek in the woods after dark!)
This term, our Year 11 students took part in a highly successful Market Stall Enterprise Project as part of their Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) curriculum.
This term, our Year 7 students have been enjoying an exciting and meaningful addition to their PSHE curriculum: Animal Care. This topic has given students the opportunity to learn about responsibility, empathy, and the importance of looking after living creatures.
Since January, Year 9 and 10 students have been working with visiting poet Des'ree to create their own spoken word poems. This term, the project culminated in the first-ever SMBS Poetry Slam, where our brave students shared their final pieces.
