Six pupils in Key Stage 4 visited the Cutty Sark, a historic sailing ship, to find out more about life on board and to accompany their study of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic pirate adventure 'Treasure Island' in English.
In school on Friday, pupils learned about and discussed Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) in form time. They were invited to show their support for those with DLD by collecting a badge from our speech and language therapists. Some of our students have been invited to share their knowledge of DLD at an assembly in a local primary school next week.
Round of A-Paws for Year 11!
On Tuesday the 5th of October, Year 11 put on their "Bark Sale" to mark World Animal Day.
On the 23rd September the whole school - staff and students - participated in a day to raise awareness about genetic disorders.
