SMBS win silver medal at Panathlon’s South East Regional u18 Swimming Final
As current North London Secondary SEND u18 Swim champions, the school was invited to take part in the Panathlon’s South East Regional u18 Swimming Final, at the London Olympic Aquatic Centre last week.
On Friday, eight teams descended on the vast Olympic Aquatic Centre - the London 2012 venue - from across Suffolk, Essex and London for the finals.
SMBS students fought bravely, working as a team to achieve second place - the silver medal. A very proud moment for our students considering the high level of competition. The students' attitude on the day was amazing. They displayed excellent behaviour and good sportsmanship throughout the competition, and it was a day full of smiles.
