Pupils have been reflecting in Form Time  on the different communities which they are part of;  what makes a community and how they can be active members of their communities. They recognised the importance of different communities in their lives

Last term we launched our Language of the Term initiative to celebrate the different languages spoken within our school community. The Language of the Term this term is Bengali and Year 9 pupil, Abid together with Mr Ali, recorded a short video to teach us all some simple phrases in Bengali.  Pupils will be looking at slides about Bangladesh and the language video in Form Time over the next couple of weeks.

Finally, one of our Year 8 pupils has embarked on a photography project to showcase our school community so watch this space. We look forward to sharing this.
