Last week our school community returned for the first full week of the new school year.
Staff and pupils alike noted how nice it was to be coming back to the new school site and we all enjoyed the sunshine out in the playgrounds at break and lunchtimes.
Our new Year 7 cohort have been settling in and getting to know one another, getting used to the school and their new lessons and teachers. A warm welcome to all our new pupils and their families.
We are looking forward to another busy year at SMBS. There are already trips and activities planned. Year 7 will be visiting the Natural History museum at the end of term as part of their Humanities curriculum and Year 9 and 10 will be going to New Scientist Live at the beginning of October to enrich their Science studies.
This term we will be offering a Creative Arts Club every Monday after school and we are looking forward to Community Action Week at the end of term.
This year is the tenth anniversary of The St Marylebone CE Bridge School and we are looking forward to marking this in our school community later this year.
