Curriculum Aims
At the St Marylebone CE Bridge School (SMBS), our curriculum is differentiated to meet the needs of our pupils and to offer the appropriate level of challenge for our pupils’ individual stages of development.
The curriculum at SMBS fosters curiosity, creativity, enjoyment and ambition, enabling our students to reach their academic and language potential alongside developing their personal and spiritual understanding and positive mental health and wellbeing.
Our curriculum supports students to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their strengths and difficulties in order to take their next steps in modern life, study and work with confidence and empower them to be active participants in their communities.
We respect and invest in subject specialism, promoting passion for what makes each subject worthy of study in its own right, while encouraging links between subjects.
