Our School

Welcome to The St Marylebone CE Bridge School, a co-educational Church of England Special Free School. We provide a high quality education for pupils aged 11- 16 with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), whose primary needs relate to their Speech, Language and Communication.

By nurturing Compassion, Kindness, Forgiveness and Peace we have created a calm, safe and enjoyable learning environment where everyone matters and in which our pupils regularly experience success. A broad and balanced curriculum guarantees that our pupils access a range of qualifications that foster academic success, independence and social awareness while ensuring that every pupil reaches their full potential. We are committed to developing our pupils as active, skilled citizens, with strong moral values who contribute positively to life in modern Britain. Our affiliation with St Marylebone CE School, an outstanding mainstream school, enriches our provision and further enables us to serve our pupils.

We have very high expectations of our staff and our pupils. We expect parents to work in collaboration with us to ensure the highest standards of behaviour, presentation, punctuality and attendance to support us in delivering the best outcomes for their child.

We pride ourselves on our personalised approach to learning. The challenging targets we set our pupils are rigorously monitored, allowing us to rapidly identify areas requiring additional support and reducing barriers to learning. By relentlessly focussing on every child’s progress, and regularly sharing this information with parents, we have experienced significant changes in the engagement of parents and pupils over time. We enjoy a close working partnership with our parent community and we are passionate about working with all school stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

We are thrilled to be providing such a well needed resource in our community. If you would like visit our school please feel free to contact our reception.
